While the A5D and A7D detailing brushes are very similar, the A5D has the narrower diameter of the two. The 9.75-inch brush is 1 inch wide and features 2.5 inch-long natural black boar's hair bristles. The bristles are set securely in the textured handle block with epoxy, and taper up from a thick base to a fine tip for a soft, scratch-free finish.
The A5D can be used on all interior and exterior surfaces. The fibres are delicate enough to remove the finest dust particles and sturdy enough for cleaning lugnuts, dashboards, vents, crevices, and other tough jobs. This is by far the safest, most effective way to clean automobile wheels we have ever seen. Most wheel brushes do an excellent job at cleaning the outside surfaces of the wheel but do not allow the user to get into the small holes and crevices where the brake dust collects.
Twisted wire spoke brushes will reach in but they can really scratch up a wheel if used carelessly. These new wheel brushes combine the best of both worlds. There is no metal in this brush whatsoever. The soft, dense carpet fibres will hold suds to transfer them to the wheel. This is a must-have brush to keep new wheels looking that way.
