Rupes Foam Pads feature a deep hook and loop attachment that allows the pads to securely mount to the Rupes Backing Pad. Because Big Foot Polishers feature a large 15 mm throw, this strong attachment is vital. A super durable, heat-resistant adhesive holds the hook and loop material to the pad to withstand the polisher's powerful oscillating action.

Rupes Blue Coarse Foam Pad
The unique large cell construction of the Blue Foam pad dissipates heat and allows the compound to maintain its extraordinary cutting ability. The oscillation of the BigFoot tool releases the compound from the foam’s inner cells and constantly applies it to the work surface. This guarantees a layer of lubricated abrasives is constantly present between the foam pad and the work surface. The Blue Foam is generally best used in combination with the Zephir compound.
Rupes Green Medium Foam Pad

- Zephir (blue) compound to increase the speed of the correction process while creating a great finish.
- Keramik (yellow) compound for one-step operations.
Rupes Yellow Polishing Foam Pad
The most versatile of the BigFoot pads, the fine pad adapts itself to the type of compound being used. Its fine cell structure gives it a fairly stiff very conformable consistency and its fine resins enhance the gloss achieved in high-speed corrections.
Recommended uses:
- Quartz (green) compound to generate a quality finish in a one-step process
- Keramic (yellow) compound to remove light swirls and holograms on difficult surfaces
- Diamond (white) compound for extremely high gloss levels on very hard surfaces
Rupes White Finishing Foam Pad
This pad is made of a high intensity resin that gives the foam its special soft texture and fine cell structure. It easily adapts to curves and contours of both sport and vintage cars. Given its particular softness and conformability, it is especially effective in the finishing of high-gloss surfaces. We recommend using it in combination with the Diamond compound to achieve a “show car” finish.
